All about Kort

- You lead first and play the king of spades.
- Play goes counterclockwise. The opponent on your right must follow with a spade if they have one, and plays the nine.
- Your partner has no spades, so they can play any card. They trump it with the five of hearts (hearts are trumps).
- The opponent on your left plays the ace of spades. But any trump beats any non-trump card.
- Your partner takes the trick: their five of hearts is the only trump in it.
- Your team has 1 trick. The first team to take 7 tricks wins the round.

Kort in a minute#
- The deal. The deck has 52 cards, 13 for each player. The trump holder gets the first five cards and chooses the trump based on them.
- Playing. The trump holder leads first. The others must play a card of the same suit, or any card if they have none. A trump beats any other suit.
- Tricks. The highest trump takes the trick. If there are no trumps, the highest card of the lead suit takes it. Whoever takes the trick leads the next one. You can lead a trump only by declaring Sar or Trop (unless your hand is all trumps).
- The round. The first team to take 7 tricks wins the round and gets 1 win.
- Kort. A 7:0 round is a Kort, worth 5 wins. If the opponents held the trump, it's an At-kort, worth 7 wins. After that, the team can go for Bavan and try to take all 13 tricks.
- The match. A match is played to 7 wins, or to 3 in a ranked game.
